Internationality and focus on the hot topics of the oil & gas sector and on the supply chain of direct interest: these are the main features outlined by the Scientific Committee as the guidelines of the Convention to be held next July in the exclusive setting of the Castello di Belgioioso, a few kilometers from Pavia, Italy.
The confirmation of the Castello di Belgioioso as the venue for the second edition of AUTOMATION INSTRUMENTATION SUMMIT, promoted by AIS (Italian Association of Instrumentation) and ISA Italy (The International Society of Automation) aims to be a sign of continuity with the organizers’ goal: promoting meetings between customers and suppliers in a unique atmosphere.
The announcement of the 2018 event was greeted with enthusiasm by the exhibitors present at the first edition and by new companies, which have already formalized their participation.
These companies belong to the following product sectors: measurement instrumentation, services and solutions for industrial process engineering, system integrators, valves, safety and explosion protection systems, explosion-proof electrical equipment, sensors and components for industry, measurement and control of the level, flow, pressure and temperature of industrial processes, solutions for automation and control, actuators, flanges, connectors.
“The objective we have set ourselves – says Claudio Montresor, Vice President of AIS – is to renew the success of 2017, both in terms of the exhibition area and the reports presented at the Conference sessions. The appreciation received at the end of the event and the enthusiasm of all those who collaborated on the success of the 2017 premiere, are promisingalso for the next edition.
The themes chosen as guidelines for the single sessions – continues Montresor – are the result of the economic and geo-political situation that is characterizing its evolution and future developments”.
The abstracts received by the scientific secretariat are already numerous.
Why the bee as a logo for the Automation Instrumentation Summit?
In the animal kingdom, the bee society provides a good example of organization, each member knows what to do and communication is strongly developed.
The AIS and ISA Italy associations made a huge effort in the last four years to get closer to this world and as worker bees they organized training days, published books and finally set up the Automation Instrumentation Summit.
Contrary to the bees world, where the Queen Bee is alone at the helm of its society, in the associations the two presidents worked together to lead everyone’s efforts to the results that are for all to see.
Communication has been the strong point of the two associations and they act now as the reference point for EPC contractors, vendors, end users. The Automation Instrumentation Summit has become the collection point of the supply chain of this industry..
